A good eyebrow shape can take years off your appearance and accentuate your features.
Follow our 7 steps to achieve the perfect home brow shape.

Use a sharp, slanted pair of tweezers for the best results.

Step 1
Place a brush along the side of your nose to find where your brows should ideally start.

Step 2
Pivot the pencil to the outside of your iris to find your arch.

Step 3
Angle the brush from the outside of your nose to the outer corner of your eye to find where your brows should ideally end (at a 45-degree angle from the outside end of the eye).

Mark all three points with an eye pencil.

Step 4
Brush your brows up with a spoolie brush (looks like a mascara wand without the mascara) and trim the very long hairs.

Step 5
Begin by plucking any stray hairs beneath the dot at the start of your eyebrows. Hold your skin taut and tweeze hairs in the direction of hair growth. Pluck any stray hairs underneath the arch of your eyebrow and beyond the spot at the end of your eyebrows.

Avoid plucking too many hairs above your brow as this can look unnatural.

Go slowly, plucking just a few hairs at a time before standing back from the mirror and checking the overall shape.

Step 6
Apply a cooling gel to your shaped brows to calm any irritation and tighten pores.

Step 7
If you have any sparse areas within your eyebrows, use an eyebrow pencil or powder to fill in the gaps. We recommend Beautiful Brows, semi-permanent eyebrow make up.

If you’re shaping your eyebrows for the first time or you’ve over-plucked in the past, it’s worth going to a salon to have them professionally shaped. Once you’ve got the perfect eyebrow shape, you can easily keep them tidy at home by just plucking the new hair growth.

Throughout June we are offering a free eyebrow shape and Beautiful Brows finish with any spa pedicure or gel pedicure. Please call us on 01395 515120 to book.
